A Musical Tribute to Hispanic Composers at Alhambra Orchestra in Coral Gables
The Alhambra Orchestra, under the direction of Artistic Director Daniel Andai, proudly presents a memorable celebration of Hispanic composers. This event will highlight the works of Lecuona, Rodrigo, Sarasate, Tarrega, and more. The centerpiece of the evening will be Villa-Lobos's Guitar Concerto, featuring soloist Koh Kazama, a professor at New World School of the Arts. The program also includes flutist Carol Naveira-Nicholson performing a beautiful piece by Rodrigo and violinists Steffen Zeichner and Daniel Andai in an electrifying Sarasate duet. In addition, expect to enjoy some of the most stirring and popular Latin melodies.
