Hosting a National Youth Tournament Series (NYTS) Qualifier is a great way to incorporate local youth players into your club. The NYTS program was established to provide youth players the opportunity to compete with and against their peers in USPA outdoor circuit tournaments.

NYTS Qualifier Tournaments officially run from March 1 to July 31 and are available to be hosted by USPA Clubs across the United States and Canada. Secure your date by emailing NYTS@uspolo.org then apply online through the tournament database, accessible by logging into the USPA Member Portal. The current tournament schedule can be viewed here. Clubs are encouraged to run NYTS qualifiers in conjunction with unrated youth polo chukkers for beginner and intermediate players.
NYTS Players must be current USPA members born after 1/1/2006 that are capable of holding a minimum -1 handicap. Interested players should contact the club directly to sign-up. At each qualifier, All-Stars are selected based on their horsemanship, sportsmanship, playing ability at current handicap and ability to play as a member of the team. All-Stars are then eligible to be selected to advance to the National Championship.
The USPA provides trophies, t-shirts, Best Playing Pony blanket and a day-of tournament manager for on-site support. Host clubs are responsible for organizing teams, providing a field, scheduling two umpires as well as assembling an All-Star Committee.
