Bal Harbour Shops Announces Worldwide Launch of Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE 2024 Inspired by Celebrated Artists
Bal Harbour Shops, the iconic open-air, all-luxury shopping destination, announces that it will host the worldwide launch of Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE, a floral art exhibition from internationally acclaimed Fleurs de Villes, which will run from March 1st to March 10th.
Open to the public, the exquisite 10-day cultural event will showcase 25 luxurious, fresh floral mannequins and flower displays created by Miami's preeminent floral designers including Indigo Hues Designs, Jassi & Co Creative, Aniska Creations, Isáchi Flowers & Crafts, Kat Saenz Productions, and Le Stem. The blooming floral installations promise to enchant and engage those who stroll through Bal Harbour Shops.
Inspired by celebrated artists and performers, the florists will pay homage to avant-garde trailblazers as well as esteemed masters in the ARTISTE exhibition. Among these influential figures are Mary Cassatt, Yayoi Kusama, Elsa Schiaparelli, Georgia O'Keeffe, Zelda Fitzgerald, and Tamara de Lempicka.
Additionally, Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE mannequins will be on display throughout Bal Harbour Village, in The St. Regis Bal Harbour, and The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour. Stunning fresh floral displays will decorate the exterior of luxury boutiques of Brunello Cucinelli, Rene Caovilla, Versace, and Diptyque, as well as ARTISTE-inspired mannequins throughout Bal Harbour Shops.
Bal Harbour Shops also presents two of its own floral mannequins. They are inspired by:
The “Queen of Fashion” Elsa Schiaparelli, lauded for her influential and creative designs that have been championed as the artistic inspiration for much of fashion through the ages. Jassi & Co Creative are the floral designers.
Japanese pioneer Pop Artist Yayoi Kusama, renowned for her extensive use of polka dots and vibrant colors, will display red and white fresh flowers in a mannequin designed by Aniska Creations.
Throughout the 10-day event guests will be transported by the artistry, sensory delights, and vibrant colors of the flowers, whether shopping or dining. Off-site delights like crown-making classes, floral cart displays, flower bike decorating, and more will add to the beauty of the experience.
In an homage to women, the Bal Harbour Shops’ installation celebrates Women’s History Month in March along with International Women’s Day on March 8th. Fleurs de Villes is a long-time partner of Bal Harbour Shops. “We’re honored to once again host the launch of its world tour while also supporting Miami’s very own talented florists,” said Carolyn Travis, Marketer General for Bal Harbour Shops. “This year’s theme, ARTISTE, acknowledges the spirit of Miami’s creativity. There is such an abundance of talent in our city and it’s wonderful to bring this artistic vision to life through flowers. We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike to Bal Harbour Shops to indulge in this display of visual beauty inspired by some of the world’s finest artists.”
