Sotheby's New York January auction will be the second iteration of our "Visions of America" sale with highlights from American spirits only. "America's Finest Spirits" will feature an unmatched assembly of some the finest spirits dating back to the late 19th century through the early 2000s.
The sale includes numerous whiskeys produced before and during national Prohibition, which began in 1920, and features coveted bourbons and ryes from the best-known distilleries of the era. Among the highlights are whiskies, rye and gin all coming from the Stewart Distillery of Philadelphia in the late 1800's early 1900's.
