CityPlace Doral to Celebrate COPA America and UEFA Euro 2024 with Soccer Fest Summer Experience + Watch Parties
GOL! CityPlace Doral – South Florida’s premier wellness, entertainment, dining and restaurant destination – is teaming up with RECREA to host a three-day Soccer Fest Summer Experience in celebration of CONMEBOL Copa America and the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship (UEFA Euro 2024). The free, family-friendly events will take place in CityPlace Doral’s Fountain Plaza on June 14, June 28 and July 12.
Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to participate in interactive, inflatable games of soccer, table games and costume character performances by soccer stars Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Suarez while enjoying live music from a DJ.
The full lineup includes:
Friday, June 14, 6-8 p.m. – Inflatable soccer field, penalty shoot and soccer performance by costume characters Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
Friday, June 28, 6-8 p.m. – Pool soccer, two Foosball tables/games and soccer performance by costume character Cristiano Ronaldo.
Friday, July 12, 6-8 p.m. – Soccer inflatable field, penalty shoot, pool soccer and soccer performance by costume characters Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
CONMEBOL Copa America 2024 is the world’s oldest international soccer tournament and will bring 16 teams to the U.S. for its 48th edition. The competition will begin on June 20 and will take place in 14 venues nationwide, including the Hardrock Stadium in Miami on June 23 and June 29, leading up to the highly anticipated Copa America Final on July 14. The 17th edition of UEFA EURO 2024 will showcase the talents of 24 European soccer teams across 10 world-class stadiums from June 14–July 14.
The community is invited to watch the CONMEBOL Copa America and the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship games at Novecento at CityPlace Doral. Novecento offers a selection of Argentinian-influenced dishes, premium steaks and pasta.
Brand ambassadors from Jameson Irish Whiskey will be on-site for Novecento’s watch parties on Thursday, June 20, from 7:30-9 p.m. for Copa America’s kick-off game and again on Wednesday, June 26, from 8:30-10 p.m. for the Venezuela vs. Mexico game. Guests will be able to participate in themed merchandise giveaways including a giveaway from the new Jameson ready-to-drink packaged cocktails as well as specialty Jameson cocktails featuring Jameson Black Barrel and Jameson Orange. The recipes were created especially for Copa America (Black Barrel Nacional and Orange Colada). Guests can also enjoy CityPlace Doral’s brand-new seasonal Instagrammable art installation made entirely of sunflower-decorated umbrellas. Upon entering the center, guests will be welcomed with 1,300 sunflower-decorated umbrellas floating overhead on the boulevard, as an extension of The Oasis experience. The umbrellas will be arranged where the sunflowers will be visible from both the top and the bottom, adding a touch of uniqueness to the atmosphere. The umbrellas will be on display through June 30.
