Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation Donates Nearly $23,000 to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation
On November 20, 2024, Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation presented a check for nearly $23,000 to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation to provide therapeutic play and joyful experiences for patients in the pediatric facility’s Child Life Zone. The money was raised in South Florida during Dunkin’s “Iced Coffee Day” (June 21) when $1.00 from every purchase supported the Dunkin’ foundation’s mission to bring joy to kids battling illness.
While at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital – Child Life Zone, the Hospital's Chief Operating Officer Jason Barell accepted the check from Dunkin’ Regional Marketing Manager Emilly Bartels and spoke about the impact of the Dunkin’ foundation’s contributions, which are now more than $280,000 during the last ten years. This year’s donation will support the children’s hospital’s “Power of Play” program, cancer patients, and toys for kids with special needs.
