Elevated Wine Brand—"Sip Channé"— brings the Spirit of Côtes de Provence to the United States

Updated: 4 days ago

Sip Channé is making its mark on the wellness world by bringing the spirit of Côtes de Provence to the United States. Founded in 2017 by television and radio personality Kavita Channe, this minority women-owned company is breaking new ground with premium French wines that celebrate wellness, balance, and vibrant living. Blending old-world tradition with Kavita’s vision for inclusivity and lifestyle, Sip Channé offers a unique, health-conscious twist on classic French wine with ultra-low sugar content and exquisite blends crafted for all palates.

Founder and CEO Kavita Channe’s wine journey began in 2016 when, after years of searching, she found herself in Provence, where she discovered the ideal rosé. Determined to bring an authentic experience to U.S. audiences, Kavita traveled back to France in 2017, meeting with over 100 winemakers to find a rosé of unparalleled exceptionality—one that would appeal to all palates. The result is Sip Channé, which today features two signature wines that embody the essence of Provence, crafted from handpicked, sustainably sourced grapes grown in family vineyards just outside St. Tropez. Bright and accessible, these wines glow in the glass with a gorgeous petal pink hue for the rosé and a radiant golden shimmer for the blanc, making them perfect for every occasion.

Channé Rosé is an exceptional blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre, hand-selected from the renowned soils of Côtes de Provence. Elegant, crisp, and versatile, Channé Rosé offers delicate hints of apricot and cherry, perfect for pairing with everything from fresh seafood to hearty roasts. It’s a year-round delight that reflects the fresh, vibrant spirit of Southern France.

Channé Blanc, the brand’s most recent release, is a traditional Provençal blend of Sémillon, Ugni Blanc, and Rolle, crafted to be smooth, dry, no sugar, long, balanced on the roundness with no tannins. With hints of floral, lemon, quince, and acacia flowers, Channé Blanc is both refreshing and robust, making it ideal for wellness-conscious wine lovers seeking an elevated, balanced taste experience

Behind the winemaking is Thomas, a French viticulture expert who grew up on his family’s vineyard, learning every aspect of the craft with a deep respect for traditional methods. His journey included studies in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and training at Switzerland’s renowned Changins School, followed by experience at top vineyards like Frankland Estate in Australia. When Kavita first visited his small, family-run domaine just 25 miles outside St. Tropez, she tasted wines that stood out as some of the most exquisite of her life—wines she knew she could proudly bring back to the U.S. under the Sip Channé label. Today,

Thomas’s global expertise and artisan’s approach infuse each bottle, capturing the essence of Provence. Kavita Channé never imagined - with a heart set on television entertainment, she could also find success as an entrepreneur in the world of wine. However, after meeting Thomas and being welcomed into his home, she began to understand their shared focus and commitment to family. It was at that moment that Kavita realized this was the path she must pursue.
