Fourth Annual Earth Day Beach Cleanup Promotes Plastic-Free Living in Miami

In honor of Earth Day, AE Global, rePurpose Global, and Clean Miami Beach are joining forces once again for their fourth annual Earth Day Beach Cleanup, taking place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. This all-ages community event invites volunteers to help preserve the natural beauty of Miami Beach’s coastline while raising awareness about plastic pollution and sustainable living.

The cleanup will be held at the oceanfront near 10th Street, where a turtle flag will mark the meeting point. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, buckets, bags, and pickers. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with closed-toe shoes, reusable water bottles, reef-safe sunscreen, and hats.

This collaborative initiative is supported by a growing list of BBBBenvironmentally focused partners, including Ocean Recovery Group, RELM, the City of Miami Beach, Jenbacher, Delta Air Lines, Mita Eyewear, and I Am Miami. Together, the goal is to inspire local action and educate the community on practical ways to reduce plastic consumption and become active stewards of the environment.
