Hard Rock Stadium's Safety Policy for Miami Open Attendees

If you're planning to attend this year's Miami Open, it's crucial to familiarize yourself with Hard Rock Stadium's entrance guidelines. Hard Rock Stadium has recently introduced a safety policy geared towards improving the efficiency and efficacy of our security protocols. This policy focuses primarily on the types and sizes of bags allowed inside the stadium, rather than the usual personal items brought by attendees.

While guests are still permitted to carry essentials like keys, makeup, combs, phones, wallets, and credit cards, it's important to note the regulations regarding bags. For those interested, Miami Open-branded approved bags are available for purchase at our retail store located within Hard Rock Stadium, offering a convenient solution for compliance with our entrance guidelines.

Here are the stadium-approved bags that fans may bring into the venue:

  • One clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag not exceeding 12” by 6” by 12”, or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (such as Ziploc or similar).

  • In addition to the clear bags mentioned above, fans may also carry a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.

  • Medically necessary items will be permitted after proper inspection at Gate E, designated for this purpose.

  • Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag. Each family member, including children, may carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse, providing ample storage capacity.

  • Laptop bags and backpacks are allowed strictly for working purposes, exclusively for credentialed sponsors.

Items such as smartphones, binoculars, and cameras will be permitted into the stadium. This policy aims to streamline the entry process while bolstering security measures.

Enhanced Security Measures:

For the safety and well-being of all attendees and participants, we have instituted updated Security Policies. Please cooperate with our mandatory screening process for all patrons, sponsors, volunteers, media, and vendors involved in the event.

Hard Rock Stadium Safety Protocols:

Our paramount concern remains the health and safety of our guests, employees, and players. We are dedicated to adhering to ATP, WTA, and government guidelines, both nationally and locally.

Hard Rock Stadium proudly maintains a GBAC STAR accreditation, signifying the gold standard in facility preparedness. This accreditation assures third-party validation that we uphold comprehensive cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention protocols. These measures are designed to mitigate risks associated with infectious agents such as SARS-CoV-2, responsible for COVID-19 disease, for the benefit of our employees, guests, community, and environment.
