The HEAT will tipoff its 37th regular season with three of their first four games in Miami, opening the regular season at home against the Orlando Magic on October 23 (7:30 PM). The HEAT will then travel to Charlotte for an October 26 matchup against the Hornets (7 PM) before returning home for games against the Detroit Pistons (Oct. 28, 7:30 PM) and the New York Knicks (Oct. 30, 7:30 PM).

The schedule also features a nationally televised (NBA TV) visit to Mexico City against the Washington Wizards on November 2 (7:30 PM), marking Miami’s third regular season game in the capital of Mexico. The HEAT won their previous two games in Mexico City, defeating Brooklyn in 2017 and San Antonio in 2022. Among the highlights of Miami’s 2024-25 schedule are a New Year’s Day home tilt against the New Orleans Pelicans (7:30 PM) and home games against the L.A. Lakers (Dec. 4), Boston Celtics (Feb. 10 and Mar. 14) and Golden State Warriors (Mar. 25).

The HEAT will play four HEAT In-Season Tournament games as part of East Group B from November 12-29. Miami’s In-Season Tournament Group Play games are scheduled on the road at Detroit (Nov. 12, 7 PM) and Indiana (Nov. 15, 7 PM) and at home against Milwaukee in a nationally televised game (Nov. 26, 7:30 PM) and Toronto (Nov. 29, 8 PM). Eight teams (four per conference) will advance from Group Play into the second and final stage of the Emirates NBA Cup 2024, the Knockout Rounds: the six group winners and two “wild cards.”

The HEAT will play 36 of the 80 currently scheduled games on weekends (Friday through Sunday). Of those weekend games, 17 will be played in Miami (seven on Friday, four on Saturday and six on Sunday). Among those 17 weekend home games will be a pair of afternoon games against San Antonio (Jan. 19, 3 PM) and the regular season finale against Washington (Apr. 13, 1 PM). The HEAT’s longest homestands this season will be a pair of five-game stretches from March 7-14 and March 19-27. Miami’s longest road trips will be a pair of six-game trips (Nov. 6-17 and Jan. 6-15). March is once again the month the HEAT will play the most times, tipping off 17 times. Additionally, Miami will play 15 back-to-backs and face the same opponent in consecutive games on three occasions, the Pacers (Nov. 15 and 17), the Raptors (Nov. 29 and Dec. 1) and the Hawks on (Feb. 24 and 26).
