The historic Hotel Continental, originally built in 1948, has officially reopened as Miami Beach’s first Tapestry Collection by Hilton property. Following an extensive renovation, the five-story, 100-room hotel seamlessly blends midcentury-modern charm with contemporary comfort, creating a boutique experience that embodies the spirit of Miami Beach.
Perfectly positioned at 40th Street and Collins Avenue, Hotel Continental sits in the heart of Mid-Beach, a neighborhood known for its rich history, oceanfront boardwalk, and access to top-tier dining, nightlife, shopping and cultural destinations. Business travelers will also appreciate the hotel’s proximity to the Miami Beach Convention Center, just two miles away.
Designed as an homage to Miami Beach’s golden era, the hotel’s newly refreshed rooms combine nostalgic, retro-inspired decor with modern amenities. Art plays a key role in the hotel’s aesthetic, with commissioned works by Danny O’Connor in common areas and striking pieces by T.S. Harris in guest rooms, evoking the essence of midcentury summers.
