Louis Vuitton's Elves: The Floral Innovation of a Timeless Scent

Louis Vuitton has announced the debut of eLVes Louis Vuitton, a new fragrance paying tribute to heroines of the past and present – the women who follow their intuition.

Rose is revealed in all its splendour, highlighted by Bulgarian rose absolute and a CO2-extracted Centifolia rose exclusive to Louis Vuitton. Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud combined the flower with an exceptional technological innovation: lily-of-the-valley, sharing its scent through an unprecedented extraction process developed in Grasse, France.

Blackcurrant, peach, and a hint of coconut milk enhance the floral notes with new, invigorating colours. Cinnamon and ginger, both obtained through CO2 extraction, infuse the ensemble. Warmed through with light, a highly pure Ambroxan pushes the fragrance’s potency and impact even further. As a final signature flourish, the Master Perfumer added a dash of patchouli.

Fashioned in the signature cylindrical silhouette of Louis Vuitton fragrances, its bottle reveals a deep, vibrant purple essence, accompanied by a travel case. A violet microfibre lining adds a touch of modern refinement, while the silver metal buckle elegantly seals the case.
