Louis Vuitton X Formula 1: Miami Grand Prix Countdown

Louis Vuitton has joined Formula 1® as an Official Partner in a 10-year agreement that places the House at the heart of this journey of champions. As the prestigious motorsport competition celebrates its 75th anniversary through 2025, Louis Vuitton will play an active role at the most emblematic race destinations. Louis Vuitton’s involvement with Formula 1® is part of the LVMH partnership as a new Global Partner, first announced in October 2024. Louis Vuitton will have a constant presence across the races including prominent trackside signage, a first for the Maison at a sporting event. The Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk will be presented ahead of races and again when it appears on the podium to honor the winner’s extraordinary achievement. 

On the occasion of Formula 1’s 75th anniversary event, Louis Vuitton presented a special edition FIA Formula One World Championship™ trophy trunk at the sport’s F1 75 event at The O2 in London, where, for the first time ever, all ten teams, their drivers, and Team Principals came together with fans to unveil the 2025 liveries.

Fitting with the tradition of all custom Louis Vuitton pieces, the FIA Formula One World ChampionshipTM trophy trunk was crafted at the House's historic atelier in Asnières, in France. The two folding front panels of the trunk were hand painted with a V – both for “Victory” and “Vuitton” – in the emblematic black and white Damier, recalling Formula 1® colors and finish line. The interior is covered by black leather/microfiber to protect the trophy. The exterior is finished with leather trim, brass corner protectors, and lock and clasps. The FIA Formula One World ChampionshipTM trophy trunk will be awarded to the best driver of the season at the end of the year.
