Love Your Way: Mayfair House Creates A Week Of Valentine's Celebrations

In Miami's storied Coconut Grove, Mayfair House Hotel & Garden announces a series of Valentine's celebrations spanning February 10-15, offering everything from intimate dining to social runs and rooftop gatherings.

Jardin del Amor by Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli

The prix fixe menu ($100 per person) available Monday, February 10 thru Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Mayfair Grill presents a thoughtfully curated journey of flavors. The evening begins with either hand-cut yellowfin tuna tartare, kissed with tropical mango leche de tigre, or a luxurious black truffle risotto enriched with local mushrooms. Main courses offer a choice between local fish bouillabaisse, draped in melted fennel and bright citrus notes, or an indulgent American Wagyu culotte steak accompanied by Stilton blue and port wine glacé. The final chapter unfolds with either a light passionfruit panna cotta or a seductive warm dark chocolate cake with miso caramel.

On Valentine's Day proper (Feb 14), the Addison Rifkind Trio fills the garden with live music from 6-10 PM, while optional wine pairings ($45) complement each course.

Divas Take the Night On February 14

Sipsip Rooftop transforms into a celebration of friendship with "Decks & Divas." From 8 PM to 1 AM, DJ Millz commands the turntables with an all-female power playlist featuring icons from Taylor Swift to Beyoncé. The first 50 ladies receive a complimentary welcome drink, setting the tone for a night where friendship takes center stage.

Singles Run & Mingle

The Valentine's celebrations continue on February 15 as Mayfair House partners with Coconut Grove Run Club for a Singles Run culminating in a rooftop mingle at Sipsip. This complimentary community event brings together local runners for a social run through Coconut Grove, followed by cocktails and conversation at the hotel's atmospheric rooftop bar.

Love in Liquid Form throughout all venues, specially crafted cocktails tell their own love stories:

  • The "Love Potion" blends gin with elderflower and pomegranate

  • "Cupid's Arrow" unites bourbon with cherry liqueur and honey

  • The "Chocolate Kiss" offers a decadent mix of vodka, crème de cacao, and strawberry

For those seeking to extend their Valentine's celebration, Mayfair House offers luxury accommodations with unique amenities, including the exclusive Ruinart Champagne Emergency Hotline. By dialing 1729, paying homage to the champagne house's founding year, guests can enjoy 24-hour Ruinart champagne service directly to their rooms. Each artfully designed suite features a private terrace, perfect for intimate moments under the Miami sky, complemented by the world's oldest champagne house's most celebrated cuvées.

"Mayfair House celebrates love in all its forms this Valentine's season," says Michael Stephens, General Manager. "Whether guests join us for an intimate dinner, a night of dancing, or a community run, each experience reflects the vibrant spirit of Coconut Grove."

About Giorgio Rapicavoli:

Giorgio Rapicavoli is an acclaimed chef and owner of the wildly popular Eating House, as well as the newly opened Luca Osteria in Coral Gables. Born and raised in Miami, Chef Giorgio Rapicavolihas dedicated his career to championing Miami’s culinary scene and inflecting his Argentine and Italian heritage into the city’s rich melting pot of food and culture. He is the first-ever Miami contestant to win Food Network’s Chopped which quickly followed with a ranking on Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30 in 2012. In addition to having been recognized by the James Beard Foundation, he was a semifinalist for Rising Star Chef in 2013, a nominee for Food & Wine’s “The People’s Best New Chef” in 2014, and a semifinalist for Best Chef: South in 2015 and 2016.

Rapicavoli trained under Miami chefs Adam Votaw and Robin Haas before becoming executive chef at Chispa Doral at just 21. He honed his skills during a three-year executive chef stint at 660 at The Angler’s Miami Beach prior to opening his famed pop-up Eating House in Coral Gables in 2012. After the success of the pop-up, Rapicavoli reopened the same concept as a standalone restaurant to widespread critical acclaim. In 2015, Rapicavoli partnered with Grove Bay Hospitality Group to open Glass & Vine in Coconut Grove’s iconic Peacock Park. In September 2019, Eating House’s second outpost debuted at Time Out Market Miami, followed by the openings of Grails Restaurant and Spanglish Kitchen & Bar in Wynwood later that year. Rapicavoli’s newest project, Luca Osteria, named after his three year old son, opened in February 2021 on Giralda Avenue’s ‘Restaurant Row’ in Coral Gables. In the summer of 2021, Eating House closed its doors after nine years at 804 Ponce de Leon Boulevard and reopened in spring 2022 at 128 Giralda Avenue, just steps away from Luca Osteria.
