Miami Beach Botanical Garden Announces Amy Rosenberg as New CEO

As an environmental and arts advocate with a proven track record of creating and leading innovative nonprofits, Amy brings more than 15 years of philanthropic experience to the Garden. Passionate about building community, she helped found/co-found five nonprofits including Dream in Green and Overtown Music Project.


Previously Amy worked as Chief Art and Advancement Officer for Friends of The Underline leading fundraising, programming, and public art. Prior to The Underline, she led campus programming, individual giving, and community outreach at the National YoungArts Foundation. Amy is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Miami School of Law. She is the recipient of the Ruth Shack Leadership Award and is a Miami Fellow. Amy serves on the Underline Art Advisory Council and is a committee member of 3GMiami.



The nonprofit Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a 3-acre subtropical garden and event space with a mission of promoting environmental enjoyment, stewardship, and sustainability through education, the arts, and interaction with the natural world. They are the recipient of $6.4M in funding, generated by the recently passed General Obligation Bond for Arts and Culture institutions, that will be used by the Garden’s Board of Directors and the incoming CEO to position the City-owned public greenspace for a resilient and sustainable future.
