Miami Leads 2025 Michelin Guide Florida Selections with 16 Stars and Sustainability Honors

Greater Miami and Miami Beach once again topped Florida’s culinary rankings as the 2025 Michelin Guide revealed its selections, awarding the region a total of 16 Michelin Stars—the most in the state. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) celebrated the announcement, recognizing the city's continued rise as a global dining destination.

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Miami retained its prestigious Two Michelin Stars, while Itamae AO was awarded a One Michelin Star for the first time. Fourteen other Miami restaurants retained their One Star status, including Ariete, Boia De, Cote Miami, and The Surf Club Restaurant.

In sustainability, Miami continued to stand out. EntreNos and Stubborn Seed received their first Green Stars for sustainable practices like local sourcing and regenerative agriculture. Krüs Kitchen and Los Félix maintained their Green Star recognition from previous years.

“This is a remarkable moment for our culinary community,” said David Whitaker, GMCVB President & CEO. “These Michelin honors are more than awards—they validate Miami’s global influence in the culinary world and its growing reputation as a top food destination.”

Miami also garnered individual accolades. Jacqueline Pirolo of Macchialina won the Michelin Sommelier Award, while Juan Camilo Liscano of Palma earned the Michelin Young Chef Award.

Fourteen Miami-area restaurants kept their Bib Gourmand status, awarded to places offering high-quality meals at great value. New entries to Michelin’s recommended list—nine in total—further cemented the region’s place on the global food map.

As Michelin continues to expand across Florida, Greater Miami remains at the forefront, driven by culinary talent, sustainability, and a commitment to excellence.
