Miami Vice Cast to Reunite for 40th Anniversary in Miami Beach
Miami Beach will play host to a significant event from September 12-15, as fans of the iconic television show Miami Vice converge for a 40th Anniversary Reunion. The celebration will bring together original cast members, guest stars, and enthusiasts from around the world in a series of events across South Beach.
The event, spearheaded by a dedicated fan, has garnered support from the Miami-Dade Police Department, Miami Beach Mayor's Office, and the Ocean Drive Association. These entities have recognized the cultural impact Miami Vice had on the city, crediting the show with revitalizing Miami Beach and boosting tourism since its premiere in 1984.
Attendees can expect a range of activities, including guided tours of filming locations, meet-and-greet opportunities with the stars, and access to a specially constructed Miami Vice Museum. The museum will feature the largest collection of show memorabilia, including screen-used props, wardrobe items, and the iconic white Ferrari Testarossa.
VIP experiences, such as a cigar lounge on Española Way and exclusive dinners with cast and crew members at Miami Beach's "A Fish Called Avalon," will also be available. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Police Officers Assistance Trust, continuing the show's legacy of supporting Miami-Dade Police officers and their families.
