NightLAB: Science Swarm
Prepare to bug out during nightLAB: Science Swarm. Adults 21+ can explore our new special exhibition, Bugs, a special exhibition created by Te Papa Tongarewa Museum of New Zealand and Weta Workshop (the creative studio behind the Lord of the Rings films’ fantastical sets), participate in activations, engage with community partners, enjoy drinks, and more. Connect with friends and get ready to enjoy science socially.
During the evening, guests can expect:
Access to museum exhibitions from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Experience an original, live-presented, and interactive Frost Planetarium show, ‘Bugs… in Space!’ (seating is limited; reserve on site)
Get creepy crawly with live bugs from the Naval Entomology Center for Excellence
Explore ‘Bugs in Love’ with our Expert on Call Mike Terrell from Palm Beach Zoo
Compete in beetle bingo to win prizes from Biscayne Bay Brewing while discovering fascinating details about nature’s most diverse creatures.
Snack on chocolate-covered crickets as you discover the nutritional power of insects and how they could become a future food source with Frost Science educators
Hear about the ‘Planet of Prehistoric Bugs’ with Frost Science’s paleontology department
Become an entomologist with the Broward College Entomology and learn the methods scientists use to preserve research specimens as you pin your own bug to take home.
Drinks and snacks for purchase at the Space_Bar by Constellation Culinary Group

Members: Frost Science Members can purchase up to four tickets at $15.00 per person regardless of membership level entitlements.
