Ornare Miami Design District Unveils Works by The Art Design Project
Updated: Dec 13, 2024
Ornare’s Claudio Faria, known for longstanding leadership in South Florida’s design community, has brought in The Art Design Project, a Miami-based art gallery renowned for promoting the convergence of art and design, for a collaborative exhibition in its Miami Design District space just in time for Art Basel and Miami Art Week.
Based in Miami, The Art Design Project has been at the forefront of merging art and design, representing a diverse roster of over 60 emerging and established artists from more than 20 countries. The gallery’s mission is to create a dialogue between contemporary art and design. Showcasing recent works amid Ornare’s recently unveiled Timeless Collection, the works are integrated in the high-end home interior systems.
The installations include paintings, sculptures, photography, and mixed media pieces by artists including Charo Oquet who designed the colorful ceramics featured in the space, Hunter & Gatti, known for their striking fashion and photography crossovers, and James Bonachea, who challenges cultural narratives through mixed media, adding layers of artistic expression to the space.
Each art piece is carefully selected to harmonize with Ornare’s design ethos, making the showroom not just a display of luxury interiors but a destination for art and design enthusiasts alike.
The Art Design Project has been curating both physical and online exhibitions under strict curatorial guidelines, focusing on a tight selection of works that cater to collectors and art institutions. Their collaboration with Ornare not only enhances the showroom's visual appeal but also highlights the synergy between fine art and high-end design. From Magda von Hanau’s bold ceramic sculptures to Rodrigo Spinel’s intricate drawings that explore the beauty of repetition, each piece adds a unique touch to the showroom’s aesthetic.
The reopening of the Ornare Miami showroom marks a new chapter for the Miami design community, offering a destination where design, art and architecture converge. This is a space where clients can explore Ornare’s custom solutions while immersing themselves in a curated art experience. The partnership with The Art Design Project exemplifies how art can elevate interior design, turning functional spaces into inspiring environments.
With this reopening, Ornare continues to set the bar for luxury interiors, showcasing its commitment to not just creating beautiful spaces, but also fostering a deep appreciation for local art and culture.
