The restaurant secured a 10-year lease in a 1,346-square-foot space. El Carnival is set to return as premier culinary destination, offering an elevated dining experience complemented by live samba performances and culturally enriching programming.

Wael Chaal and Manuela Coiana, the couple behind El Carnival, bring over a decade of expertise in the restaurant industry and a shared passion for Brazilian culture to the restaurant. The couple has turned the restaurant into a full-experience, combining the distinct flavor of perfectly grilled picanha and fresh colorful salads to the warmth of Brazilian hospitality. While Wael specializes in creating unforgettable dining moments, Manuela is responsible for translating the authentic flavors and traditions of Brazil to the restaurant. El Carnival is the result of the couple’s passions culminating into the ultimate churrasco experience, inviting guests to savor expertly grilled cuts of meat and delicious sides, while immersing themselves in the vibrant culture of Brazil.
The opening marks Chaal’s exciting return to Miami Beach, where he previously owned and operated the original El Carnival on Española Way for 15 years before selling it in 2021.

Live samba performances were a trademark of El Carnival's original location on Española Way, entertaining guests every Saturday afternoon. To complement the lively atmosphere, El Carnival’s menu features a variety of traditional Brazilian flavors, including appetizers like coxinha (chicken croquettes) and signature dishes such as picanha (grilled sirloin steak) and skewer prime steak.
