The 9th Annual South Beach Jazz Festival Returns with a Spectacular Lineup 



Power Access, a Cultural Presenter for the City of Miami  Beach, proudly presents the South Beach Jazz Festival, a premier cultural event made possible through  generous sponsorship by the City of Miami Beach and supported by Miami-Dade County Cultural  Affairs. Known for celebrating inclusion and accessibility through the power of music, the South Beach  Jazz Festival has sold out for the past several years—and this year promises to be no different. With  performances by Grammy Award-winning legends like Eddie Palmieri and his Latin Jazz Band, the  iconic Ms. Lisa Fischer, and rising star Emmet Cohen, it’s crucial to secure your tickets early for this  unforgettable weekend of world-class jazz that unites the community.

Headliner Performances:

 

Eddie Palmieri and his Latin Jazz Band 

Date & Venue: January 11, 2025, 8:00 PM at Miami Beach Bandshell  

On January 11, dance the night away with Eddie Palmieri, the legendary Grammy-winning Latin jazz  pianist and bandleader. Known for his innovative fusion of salsa and Latin jazz, Palmieri will bring his  electrifying rhythms to the Miami Beach Bandshell. Expect a high-energy performance that blends  tradition with modern beats, creating a night of unforgettable music and dance. 

Ms. Lisa Fischer & Taylor Eigsti: "The Badass & The Beautiful” 

Date & Venue: January 9, 2025, 9:00 PM at Faena Theater  

Kick off the festival with the powerful Ms. Lisa Fischer, a Grammy-winning vocalist known for her  soulful collaborations with The Rolling Stones and Luther Vandross. Paired with Grammy-winning  pianist Taylor Eigsti, they will deliver a captivating blend of jazz, soul, and rock. Set in the intimate Faena  Theater, this exclusive performance promises a night of unforgettable music in a luxurious venue. 


Emmet Cohen and Friends 

Date & Venue: January 10, 2025, VIP Event at 6:30 PM, Concert at 8:00 PM at Collins Park  On January 10, experience the brilliance of Emmet Cohen, a multifaceted jazz pianist celebrated for his  dynamic performances and innovative spirit. A winner of the American Pianists Awards and creator of the  acclaimed Masters Legacy Series, Cohen will lead an enchanting open-air concert under the Miami moon  at Collins Park. This event is free and open to the public, inviting everyone to enjoy an evening of world class jazz.

Date & Venue: January 11, 2025, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Lincoln Road Plaza (Free)  Celebrate emerging talent with a full day of performances and master classes led by jazz educator Nicole  Yarling.

 

Power Access Main Stage 

Date & Venue: January 12, 2025, 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM at Lincoln Road Plaza (Free)  End the festival with a day of exciting performances, featuring Melton Mustafa Jr. Big Band with  special guest Jesse Jones Jr. in a show-stopping finale that will energize and inspire. Other incredible  acts include the Spirit of Goodwill Band, Ricky Williams, Carole Ann Taylor, Danny Sinoff, Yissy  Garcia and Bandancha, the Bad Apples Brass Band jazz parade, and more.
