This Month At MOCA North Miami: Art, Conversations, And Jazz Under The Stars
Firstly, the museum’s fall exhibitions, Andrea Chung: Between Too Late and
Too Early and Smita Sen: Embodied, are still on view. Both prompt explorations of grief, healing, and motherhood through sculpture, collage, and live performance.

In connection to Chung’s show, join a panel discussion at MOCA on January 31 from 6:30-8 pm featuring the artist herself alongside creatives Jodie Lyn-Kee-Chow and Dr. Grace Ali, moderated by cultural curator and writer Lise Ragbir.
The conversation will involve each panelist’s unique perspective shaped by their Caribbean heritage and global influences, connecting the personal with the universal (RSVP here). Following the conversation, there will be a lively Jazz performance by Etienne Charles on MOCA’s plaza.
