Valdo Introduces Aquarius Blanc de Blancs: A Fusion of Art & Sparkling Wine

Valdo, acclaimed Prosecco Superiore DOCG producer and founded in 1926, has launched its latest creation, Aquarius Blanc de Blancs, in the U.S. market. Known for its roots in Valdobbiadene, home of the finest quality Proseccoand owned by the Bolla family since 1938, Valdo has long been recognized for its innovation, quality craftsmanship and artistic design.



For the design of Aquarius Blanc de Blancs, Valdo partnered with American artist Ceci Johnson to create a striking bottle. The label features organic color pigments applied directly to the glass, resulting in a distinctive textured finish. Johnson's artistic vision for the design is inspired by the beauty of the underwater world.


“We’re incredibly excited to bring Aquarius Blanc de Blancs to the U.S. market,” says Matteo Bolla, third-generation family member from Valdo, based in the U.S. “Aquarius embodies Valdo’s dynamic and innovative spirit with its distinctive character and striking bottle design. Ceci’s creative vision has elevated the bottle to a new level of artistry, and we believe Aquarius will captivate a wide audience seeking wines that combine exceptional quality with innovative design.”



Crafted from Garganega and Glera grapes, Aquarius Blanc de Blancs presents a light straw-yellow hue and offers fresh floral notes, tropical fruit, and subtle greenery on the nose. The wine delivers a balanced sweetness with a smooth finish and is produced using the Martinotti method, which involves aging in the bottle.
